And thus beings The Quantum Suicide of Sophie Miller, the fifth narrative feature film from RiverBend Films, the creators of the critically-acclaimed film The Receipt (2008), and based on the award-winning stage play of the same name written by Matthew Marcus and produced three times for the stage by Darrell Poe, who is also producing the film version. The film, starring award-winning actress Alexia Poe in its title role, was shot entirely on location in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and was completed in July 2013. It is presently being entered in film festivals nationwide.
